Liberty in Action: 250th Anniversary Challenge
The Liberty in Action: 250th Anniversary Challenge brings together Scouts from all programs to explore America’s founding principles, connect Scouting’s long tradition of civic service to our national story, and take meaningful action in their communities.
To commemorate this historic milestone, Scouting America is introducing a limited-time patch.
This challenge can be completed now through February 2027.

50-Miler Award
To recognize members who cover the trail or canoe or boat route of not less than 50 consecutive miles; take a minimum of five consecutive days to complete the trip without the aid of motors. In addition to the mileage there is an important requirement to perform a 10 hour service project while on the trip.
