Adding Troop 41's Calendar to Your Phone
Do you want to see Troop 41's events on your phone? When new events are added or existing events changed you will automatically see updates.
Follow these instructions to add Troop 41's calendar to your Android or iOS calendar!
Android
These steps to link your Android phone calendar must be done first on a computer its not possible to initiate the link from the Calendar Android App on your phone.
Open Google Calendar from a Computer Web Browser.
On the left side, find "Other Calendars" and click the + and choose From URL.
Copy and Paste the Troop 41 calendar's address below:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/troop41lex%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
Click "Add Calendar". The calendar will appear on the left side under "Other calendars."
Open your Calendar App on your phone and refresh your calendar.
Open Settings in Calendar App and you should see "Troop 41 Events" open that and enable "Sync" and you are done!
iOS
Tap the "Settings" icon.
Tap "Passwords and Accounts".
Tap "Add Account" and select "Other."
Select the "Add Subscribed Calendar" option, fill in the Google Calendar URL:
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/troop41lex%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
In the Server box and click "Next."
Change any other settings you want before saving the calendar. You do not need a username or password.
Toggle your view of the subscribed calendar by opening the Calendar app & tapping "Calendars" in the upper left corner.
Tap a calendar name to either display or remove calendar events.
